ABOUT
THE FARM
Over
the years we have cultivated a trail system here on the
farm that allows us to train trail horses at home. We are
located on a seasonal creek that boasts a training bridge;
we also have a pond in one of our upper pastures. The farm's
diverse topography allows us to ride up and down hills,
through water, over the bridge and in and out of the pond.
Just this winter we set up a cross country jump course
down in the soft earth along the creek -- there are always
girls who love to jump their horses and now they are all
set.
The round
pen is located in a quiet glade in the woods. The arena,
on the other hand, is located so as to be a focal point
here on the farm. It is out in the open, surrounded by
fruit trees and grassy banks, and ringed by blooming flowers
in the spring.
We know
how difficult it can be to get in and out of some farms
with a trailer, and designed our farm to easily accommodate
big rigs that need lots of turning room.
Visitors
are always welcome and you can feel free to bring friends
along too. We have a lovely picnic area so don’t
hesitate to bring a lunch. |
